Colored Pencils with Acrylic Gloss Varnish

These works by Sheila Asbell Allen are created first with several layers of colored pencils to create the image.  Then she coats the images with many layers of acrylic glass varnish.  The smaller ones usually take at least two weeks, larger images take longer.  Click on each one for a larger image.
